Dr. Brunson lives in Cottontown, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville with his wife, Dixie. He has one daughter, Michelle. He attends First Baptist Church in Joelton. Dr. Brunson is real estate broker for Keller-Williams Realty and has been a vice-president of a Fortune 500 company and president of many advertising and direct marketing companies.

MINISTRY: Dr. Brunson was saved in April of 1988 at the age of 42.
He has been a Gideon for nineteen years. Former president of the Springfield camp for three years and was a state training officer for two years.
Dr. Brunson is the co-founder and president of World Light Ministries Inc., a ministry that financially supports Ukrainian pastors, orphanages and a regional children's hospital in Kirovograd, Ukraine. He has been to Ukraine and Russia over thirty times and has led numerous missionary teams and crusades to these countries. In May of 2000, over thirty-four hundred men, women and children repented and received Christ during one of the World Light Ministries crusades in Ukraine. He is the only American to be given the honor of being ordained by the Ukrainian Baptist Union as an Evangelist and Missionary and receive an Honorary Doctors degree in Ministry from Kiev Seminary in Ukraine. His ministry has helped build two churches and purchase six buildings that have been converted to churches in Ukraine. He as also helped start churches in Ukraine maximum-security prisons and has an active prison ministry there.
Dr. Brunson has also led World Light mission teams to Africa four times and organized crusades with up to seventy thousand per day in attendance. More than two hundred thousand lost souls accepted Christ as Lord and Savior during these crusades and leadership conferences. Dr. Brunson and his World Light teams have taught and trained over sixty two hundred pastors that attended his leadership conferences in Africa from eight different countries. Hundreds of the sick at the crusades and conferences were healed by the Lord. The blind could see, the lame walked and the deaf could hear. Many people with Aids and Cancer were also cleansed and healed.
In addition to his ministries and business, Roy preaches monthly at the Nashville Women's Shelter.
